Comic Book Artists Needed 6 – month contract

We are a progressive media and marketing company based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We are expanding out marketing department to include graphic novels and daily comic strips. The position requires a weekly meeting to review all works in our studio.

The graphic novel work will entail 8 to 12 meetings initially and then you are able to work from home with daily email and/or telephone communication, with one meeting in person per week if required.

The contract will have to be completely quickly as we have deadlines of our own to meet. Please visit our website and click on the COMIC BOOK CONTRACT page.

Fill out the form and attach the samples that we are requesting. Our decisions to meet with you will be sent out within 7 days of you submitting the form information. There are various per-page rates which will be determined based on your talent and ability to deliver accurately what we are asking of you.

If you are selected, we are having an orientation where you will meet with the owners of our company to discuss the possibility of your selection for our projects.

The orientation is casual wear and appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be served during that time. Each artist at the orientation will have 15 minutes of time to present their artwork and discuss their experience and goals in the industry. Please bring only artwork that is comic/graphic novel related and have your list of questions for us ready for your meeting. We wish that we could spend more time with you, but it simply will not be possible. The orientation date is AUG 24, 2010 from 3PM to 10PM and the address will be given to the candidates who qualify.

Please, do not contact us unless you are serious about completing works that are minimum 30 pages. The compensation packages are above the industry standard for those of you who are willing to work hard and efficiently.
